Mini-Networks The New Buzz Word in SEO
Optimization is becoming more complex as we get better at optimization. Now Google is requiring optimized mini-networks for the top spots on a Google search, especially if you have a competitive niche.
Yes, keywords are still the cornerstone of SEO, but now there is so much more required to rank well. Google wants your website, GBP, blogs and social media to be not only optimized, but linked.
Using keywords as the basis for your optimization, you need to show:
Do you matter or in other words, do you know what you're talking about? Can someone go to your network and find answers and solutions for their questions/problems?
RELEVANCE
Is this website or GBP or social media post what your target audience is looking for?
Are your customers and search engine bots happy with what they experience on your site and how you allow them to interact with your site? Do your onpage content and visuals speak to your target audience? This is called UX/UI.
How do these three things affect your mini-network?
All parts of your network need to have these three areas connected and optimized. Google ranks your GBP, in part, by what is on your website. Your website is ranked by the level of optimization and links to your social media and other websites. None of this can be random linking or keywords or content. You must focus on your core business. If you want to have several different businesses or interests, give them their own mini-networks.
