Content is ranked in, but not limited to, your website, blogs, email and social media.
Content optimization is separate and distinct from website SEO. It requires that you have full knowlege of your product. If you know your topic and product, and you give important value to your audience, your ranking will reflect it. Good SEO for content requires that you know Google's current optimization requirements.
If there any duplication of content, it is called plagiarism and your ranking drops.
Content creation is a different kind of creativity from web design, GBP or social media posts. It requires research into your particular niche and what others in your industry have written on the subject. People want real information not fluff or deception. AI can only do so much. AI can find what others have written and possibly give you ideas for more content, but I have yet to see real creativity and interesting content, of any length, in what it writes. I can tell if AI has written something by the way is sounds. If I can, so can your audience, so can Goolge. You need engaging content to hold your audiences' attention and bring them back.
